Mahi Pai Taniwha have been travelling around the Tainui District entertaining our Koohanga Reo and Kura Teina. 

Mahi Pai is a programme that has been developed to help with the revitalisation and the normalisation of Te Reo Māori. Children explore through waiata and active play while combining Te Reo Māori and New Zealand sign language into pure unbridled fun.

The six magic taniwha have spread a 'rainbow of positive energy' across our rohe. The Tamariki have enjoyed the opportunity to see them live and receive gifts from some of their favourite taniwha.
