Te Kōhanga Reo National Trust is committed to supporting whānau through the transition to fortnightly pays. To further assist kōhanga reo, the Trust is now offering an even greater incentive for those opting to move immediately.

Transition Options:

• Move immediately – Trust will cover Smartly personnel fees until March 2027 (extended support).

• From 1 July 2025 – Trust covers fees until 1 November 2026.

• From 1 November 2025 – Trust covers fees until 1 July 2026.

• From 1 March 2026 – Fees will become the responsibility of kōhanga immediately.

By opting in now, kōhanga will receive an additional year of financial support with Smartly personnel fees covered right through to March 2027. This ensures a smoother transition and gives whānau more time to adjust before taking on these costs.
