Our new website is now live!
Tākiri mai te haeata ki runga i te ara tūāpae o Te Kōhanga Reo. He whetū tārake kua mahuta ake ki te pae, haramai te toki huakirangi. Haumi ē! Hui ē! Tāiki ē!
As a new dawn rises on the horizon of Kōhanga Reo, a new star is launched to the sky, we bring forth the new dawn.
I’m excited to announce the launch of our new website. After a year of planning, designing, and lots of hard mahi to refresh our web pages and create new content, I’m proud of the virtual home we have created together.
Our new website is a gateway for us to showcase what we do and to build connection with whānau, kaimahi, communities, stakeholders and everyone who wants to find out more about Kōhanga Reo.
I encourage you to take a look around and check out the Introduction to the Kōhanga Reo website video below.
Introduction to the Kōhanga Reo website
Development of both the visual designs and the website has been a real collaborative effort, with so many contributions from whānau, kaimahi, the working groups, and project team helping us achieve this exciting milestone. You can view the Introduction to Kōhanga Reo visual identity video below to learn more about our design themes.

You’ll see that some of the web pages have both Te Reo and English content, while others are currently in English only. The translation mahi will continue over the next few months and more Te Reo content will be loaded as this mahi progresses.
We would love to hear your views on the new website. You can share your first impressions and any feedback on improvements you’d like to see using the Feedback Form.
Thank you again for your support of this mahi. I hope you enjoy the changes and improvements that have been made. We can all be very proud of what we have achieved together.
Kei a tātou anō te ara tika hei ōhāki mō ngā mokopuna.
Together we will determine the pathway for our mokopuna.
