E mihi ana ki a te hunga e māro nei te haere, ki te kōkiri i ngā mahi poipoi i wā tātou whānau, i wā tātou mokopuna anō hoki.
Following on from our pānui in January, we have now extended the date for additional Environmental scan for Kōhanga Reo submissions. We encourage all Kōhanga Reo whānau to take part in this important mahi, “to help us reflect on the journey of the kaupapa to date and to explore opportunities available to the movement to grow and flourish.”
Please click here to access the form and have your say. The form will now remain open until 11.45pm on Wednesday, 27 MARCH 2024.
About the Environmental Scan Review
Led by Dr Kathie Irwin, there are three key data collection phases to the review. The first is this survey to gain an understanding of your views of the top three issues facing Kōhanga and any solutions you propose. The Trust will then undertake a PESTLE analysis to better understand the external environment in which Kōhanga function, and finally, through hui-a-rohe with Kōhanga whānau, we will explore current internal features of the movement.
The findings of the three data collection phases above will be analysed and a series of findings and recommendations presented to the Poari Matua. The final report will be peer reviewed before publication.
Te Poari Matua encourages Kōhanga whānau to take part in this project and have your say about what the future holds. Respond in Te Reo Rangatira or in English, but please, have your say!
We look forward to receiving your submissions.
