He Rau Timotimo Kōrero No.35
Ready to set up your user account and access the new Te Kōhanga Reo intranet?
Please read carefully.
Kia ora,
With the Trust's new website now live, we’re providing Trust user accounts to Kōhanga Reo kaimahi and whānau through KoAu. KoAu is the Trust Identity and Access Management system (IAM). This tool helps to ensure that you can login to the correct applications based on your role in the Kōhanga Reo.
Update your info to get your KoAu Account set up.
For your KoAu account to be created you must be police vetted and your personal email must be included in your vetting application. Once your police vetting record is created and the status is shown as 'cleared' your account will be automatically set up and an activation email will be sent to your personal email.
The activation email will include your new Kōhanga Reo email. This will be formatted like this - [email protected]. You will use this email and the password you create to login to the Kōhanga Reo intranet on the Trust's website: https://www.kohanga.ac.nz/.
If you have not received an activation email this could be because:
(1) We do not have your personal email on record;
(2) You are not police vetted, or your vetting has expired; or
(3) The role you were vetted under is not set up to receive a user account.
To update the information relating to yourself, or another kaimahi in your Kōhanga Reo please complete the following form. We require:
(A) The full legal name of the Kaimahi, Tiamana, Hēkeretari or Kaitiaki Moni as shown on your/their birth certificate or passport;
(B) Date of birth;
(C) TKR ID;
(D) Personal email.
Once this information is provided, a search of the Trust's database will be carried out and where possible an activation email will be sent to the personal email of the kaimahi. If no vetting record is located, your Kōhanga Reo will receive a notification outlining what is required to create a user account.
If you have any pātai, please email [email protected] or call 0800 ARA HIKO (0800 272 4456), or book a time for a kōrero about your Ko Au account.
Ngā mihi,
Te Ara Hiko
New process for requesting a job vacancy listing to go on our new website
Our new Te Kōhanga Reo website went live on 6 May. We hope you have had a chance to explore the website, and watch some of the videos introducing our new visual identity and how to navigate the website.
As we shared last week, we have a new Tūranga Waatea | Employment Vacancies page, which displays current Trust and Kōhanga Reo job opportunities.
This page is the central place for displaying all our vacancies. To allow jobs to be loaded and presented in a consistent format, and to allow the search and filter options to work, there is certain information we need to collect for each listing.
Existing vacancies as at 3 May
The Trust’s Communications team is working through the list of 13 vacancies that were shared by email on Friday 3 May to load these into the new website. They may come back to your Kōhanga Reo to confirm any additional details as needed.
What you need to do for a new vacancy
If you have a vacancy in your Kōhanga Reo, please:
Review and follow the Create a job listing procedure within the Te Pānui Tūranga Mahi | Establishing Employment page.
Complete the new Request job listing form.
As part of the form you’ll be prompted to complete the ‘Job details template’.
Note: You may choose to prepare this before you complete the form so it’s ready to load, or there is a link to the Word document within the form that you can download, complete then attach.
Note that you can provide both Te Reo and English content within the job details template for loading within the job listing.
If you need support in completing the form or preparing the job details, please contact [email protected]
