He Rau Timotimo Kōrero No.36
Kei ngā toronga o tō tātou kaupapa huia kaimanawa e whai nei i ngā mahuetanga iho o peperēkou mā, tēnā koutou katoa.
I’m excited to announce the launch of our new Visual Identity Kete.
Resources for our three core design themes
Following on from the development of our design themes and the launch of our new website, we now have a suite of templates and resources available for whānau and kaimahi use, relating to:
Te Kaupapa theme
Mokopuna me te Whānau theme
Te Whare Ako theme
Within these sections of the kete you’ll find a range of PowerPoint and Word templates for your use. There are also templated checklists, user guides, quick reference guides, reports, business plans, posters and more. In addition to the templates, a range of images, borders, kowhaiwhai and illustrations for all three themes are also available for you to use.
Here is a sample of the templates available in the Mokupuna me te Whānau theme.
Resources for the Te Whāriki a Te Kōhanga Reo themes
In addition to the core templates, the kete includes many of the design themes shared in the early days of our design journey, such as the manu, pepeke and kowhaiwhai from the Te Whāriki A Te Kōhanga Reo Te Pae Tuku Aka and Te Whāriki A Te Kōhanga Reo Te Pae Tuku Kōrero books. These can be used for posters and other documents as needed.
Image library
We’re continuing to build up an image library which will grow over time. Within the kete there is more information about submitting new images.
Getting started
Kaimahi, Tiamana, Hēkeretari and Kaitiaki Moni can access the kete by clicking the Log In button at the top of the new website to go to your Aku Mahi page and clicking on the Visual Identity Kete quick link. If you do not have a Trust login and would like to request one, please see the New user account pānui.
You can review this video for a guided tour and an Introduction to the Visual Identity Kete.
And if you haven’t already viewed the Introduction to Kōhanga Reo visual identity video, take a look to learn more about our design themes.
Your feedback
We would love to hear your views on the new templates and resources. You can share your first impressions and any feedback using Visual Identity Kete Feedback Form.
Thank you again for your support of this mahi. I hope you enjoy the new templates and resources, which reflect who we are and are uniquely us. Now that we have these available at our fingertips, I’m looking forward to using them myself.
I encourage you to explore the possibilities with our new Visual Identity Kete!
Noho ora mai i roto i ngā manaakitanga o te wā.
