Me he pātai ā koutou, Kaua e horokukū ki te tuku īmera mai.
Kia ora everyone,
A group of us here at the Trust have created an ohu whakarite in preparation for our Kōhanga Reo performance at this year's Koroneihana.
The goal of this year’s Koroneihana performance is to show unity in our knowledge of our bracket, and to give kaimahi and whānau an opportunity to expand their knowledge of some of our most sung Kōhanga Reo waiata. It is also an opportunity to grow our kete waiata so that we may have more items to sing at all our future kaupapa.
We hope to also support our Poari Matua pae and kaikōrero at Koroneihana.
We will send recordings of the waiata to all kaimahi and whānau with the words for people to learn.
As with most things we understand that time is short and everyone is busy but we hope to make this experience as enjoyable as possible and celebrate the kaupapa of Kōhanga Reo with our Patron Kiingi Tuheitia Pōtatau Te Wherowhero Te Tuawhitu and Te Puhi Ariki, Nga wai hono i te po Paki.
Another pānui closer to the time will be sent out in regard to when the roopu will be standing. Once the Poari Matua has confirmed our kaikōrero, approximate times will also be shared with our Kōhanga Reo whānau.
Please don’t hesitate to reply to this email with any pātai or queries regarding this kaupapa.

Mehemea ka moemoea tātou, ka taea e tātou”
